This project entails rehabilitation and restoration of 250,000Ha in the water towers,fencing of 60 km of MMF ,reclaiming of 20,000 Ha of encroached land in the Mau, Cherangany Hills and Mt. Elgon Forest ecosystems and protecting and fencing 450,000Ha of water towers protected and restore ecological integrity of the water towers to at least 75% functionality.
