National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign

Kenya embarked on an ambitious tree planting drive, aiming to plant 15 billion trees nationwide by 2032. This effort seeks to increase the country's tree and forest cover from 12.13% to 21.07%. To achieve this goal, the initiative will focus on producing 7.9 billion tree seedlings, upgrading 300 existing KFS tree nurseries, and establishing 50 new ones.
